I just finished reading the Y: The Last Man series and, thoroughly cheesed off, hit the internets in search of someone else who wanted to throw the final book across the room. I found lots of reviews praising the series' "perfect" conclusion, ugh. So glad I thought to do an LJ-specific search (I jumped over here when I noticed the DW link). Your comments sound a lot like my reactions, only with less tooth-grinding and fist-shaking... particularly about that "significant late death," grrr. And yeah, now that you mention it, WTF was up with those rats?
