Oh, I quite like Seattle itself! (Except the lack of a down escalator to the rail link, heh.) Sorry if I conveyed otherwise. We didn't spend much time there this trip — a late-arrival overnight outbound, an early(-ish) departure, and the whirlwind return. But I've visited before, when my brother was in college there, and I found it quite nice!
