Typical holiday

I'm not Christian and so don't celebrate Christmas. It's just as well: I can't persuade the BBC's web player to let me watch the Doctor Who Christmas special; I'm coming down with yet another cold; and I've just discovered that about nine inches of stretchy string are missing from the cats' current favorite toy and are presumably inside the girlcat. Hap-py holidays!
