You know, when I first ran across a Rodney/Teyla prompt, I didn't get that at all ... and then I actually read some of those fics and saw it. I really think Rodney would do best with someone who respects him but will also stand up to him, and that's very true of Teyla. That pairing might be part of what inspired this, come to think of it -- similar dynamic, to me.

Donna is the bee's knees, in every way, including that she's an actual adult woman -- the "kids" are fine, too, but I like variety. (Catherine Tate and David Hewlett are about one month apart, according to IMDB, if I'm remembering correctly.) Oh, now I'm thinking about Donna teaming up with Sarah Jane ... hmmm.

Myself, I read just about any genre but tend to get kinda bored with most explicit stuff, preferring gen and romance, so I get not really clicking with certain genres. I'm so glad this worked for you despite. Thanks!
