Wonderful story. I´m not familiar with Dr. Who or Torchwood, I only know what the shows are about by osmosis or something, and even though I didn´t know some people in the fic it wasn´t all that important for the story itself, fortunately. (Although I do want to find out the story about the fiancé and the giant spider.) So I approached Donna like an OC and immediately fell in love with her in the first scene. She and Rodney could take over the world together. In their spare time. Sometime after the third re-read I thought that Donna should be a Mary Sue: she´s very smart, frightfully competent, Rodney falls in love with her and everybody likes her, and the "deal" they made (great idea, btw) mentions only his faults, not hers. But she´s not, she´s a real, believable character. Well done ^^ So, um, the only reason I got around to commenting was that meme you have, I´ll do that now.
