Kittens at one week

violetcheetah provides another photo album and a video clip of the kittens at one week old. The darker kitten has eyes a bit open, and they both are now old enough to purr.

Wow. They're even cuter when you can hear the little squeaky almost-meows. Mom looks pretty wiped out, though---not that I wouldn't be if I'd just given birth and had two babies climbing all over me.

Yeah, she is so over this "mothering" thing. She's finally figured out that she can't go hang out at the mall with all her friends. And this is why we make the rugrats sacks of flour and eggs to "take care of" in junior high. Teen pregnancy is bad, kids! (Poor girl is so very young. She is trying, though.)

*laughs* Mamma looks so unimpressed for most of this. The wee ones are adorable, though - oh, those thiny wee squeaking noises!

Yes, she is totally over it already. Hee. And I think you can hear the tiny little kittens giving tiny little purrs near the end ....
