I knew I have many, many deer. I knew I had snakes, like the one I nearly stepped on this morning.

Until two minutes ago, though, I had never before seen a fox in my yard. So cool!

Ah, I'm very envious! A fox is one bit of wildlife I've never managed to see out in the actual wild.

I've only ever seen them for real outside one of the offices of my company — that particular office borders a golf course amidst woods and swamps. I saw one of them stalking a Canadian goose that was bigger than the fox, actually. Good times. But yeah, it was so cool!

Nah, it was a quick sighting at twilight, and it saw me as quickly as I saw it, and made haste to move along. Shame.
