Fanfic rec: "Written by the Victors" (SG:A)

I'm not usually much of one for fan fiction, for a variety of reasons. I would however like to recommend the Stargate: Atlantis fiction "Written by the Victors". I think it does a brilliant job of capturing the voices and personalities of each canon character while maintaining its own inspired complexity and humor (as well as including passages of explicit slash sex, which: you have been warned).

Victors is an event unto itself. The fic created a universe, with contributive sequels and missing scenes and art from a variety of people, not to mention the amazing vid which re-appropriated the source (adore that vid) and a podfic that cannot be matched with the amount of contributions put into it. A wonderful event for the entire fandom :D
