China earthquake stories, in online "comic" form

For those who don't follow Neil Gaiman's blog ... a correspondent named Coco Wang has created "comics" of moments from the 5.12 China Earthquake. Some of them are heartbreaking; they are worth a look.

I didn't know Neil Gaiman blogged. I'll have to bookmark this. Thank you!

I had a look at the comics. Hard to read. Kind of reminds me of Maus.

Speaking of Neil, I wasn't aware of this but he co-wrote the screenplay for the latest movie adaptation of Beowulf. While the movie wasn't that great, it has his style indelibly stamped on it.

If you haven't tracked them down yet: Here's his direct journal link (http://journal.neilgaiman.com/) and the LJ feed for it (http://syndicated.livejournal.com/officialgaiman/).

I don't know a whole lot of his work, but he got his American Gods posted for free online reading recently, and I had read some of the Sandman series, and I wonder if his influence is why I like Good Omens so much when I've found other Pratchett works a bit difficult to get into ....
