Beginning

I have nothing notable to report. It's 2am on a Saturday morning; I should have gone to bed long since, of course, but somehow once the laptop goes on, time just evaporates.

I've never been much of one for diaries. I don't have the discipline, and despite my best intentions, months pass between entries and I just end up giving up.

Recently, though, I've wanted to work out ideas that have occurred to me at inconvenient times. Most folks I know do this by e-mailing their ruminations to acquaintances, but I've never felt that I have that kind of relationship with much of anyone.

Hence the LiveJournal. I'll give it a try, at least, and see how it goes.

One of these days I'll even put information into the "personal info", against the day that anyone actually cares ....
