MEDITECH creates and supports software to run hospitals. To work here, you have to be in New England and have a car; the company is in eastern Massachusetts and requires employees to work from the office for the first two or three years before offering a telecommute day or two. It uses a "start low, build high" salary structure. I've worked here 13 years and am very happy.
