(Not really spoilery.)

That whole thing with one person wanting to convey "in case of my death" instructions and the other person stomping all over their wishes and even attempts to speak? Still offensive; still a signal of insensitivity rather than the affection it's presumably meant to convey, at least as SGA and now Sanctuary have portrayed it. Is it a SighFie thing? A Damian Kindler thing? Whatever it is, I'm heartily sick of it.

I also personally think it's (still, or again) too soon for tsunami-in-Southeast Asia plotlines, at least played so cavalierly, but maybe that's just me.

(If they can't spell their own name right, I'm not going to!)

What is with this network? They announce SGU and then SGA "mysteriously" gets canceled. Now they've announced a New BSG prequel ... and suddenly 'Caprica' is canceled. And they're not just canceling the show; they're yanking "[t]hese final five episodes of the season"** to be rescheduled for ... some other time.

** ("final five", intentional lol?)

Here's a little hint for these clue-impaired lunatics: You can't (successfully) trade on a brand's reputation if you're simultaneously crapping all over the same brand. That should be obvious. FFS, it's not like I'm only watching because I'm a fan of the network. Also: If you make it clear you're just going to yank away anything I'm enjoying, I'm not going to bother showing up in the first place. This should also be obvious.

I'm still enjoying 'Eureka', when it's on; and 'Sanctuary' ... well, Tapping and Heyerdahl are pretty and amazing, and the eyeroll calisthenics are probably good for me, so I'll probably keep that around. Otherwise, though, I'm just as happy not to have anything I care about on this failtastic network.
