Notes: I've never done flashfic before, but I'm trying to learn how to write anything non-angsty and anything under 15,000 words. I only missed the suggested upper limit here by half again, so that's actually pretty good for me! I'm sure this has been done before, but it popped straight into my head when I saw this challenge and I couldn't resist. I'm also breaking my own rule against posting without first using a beta, so please feel free to let me know of anything I missed.

May now or eventually conflict with SGA after "Vegas", SG-1 post-series (movies), DW after "Journey's End", Torchwood after S2, or Sarah Jane Adventures after S1 … but should be consistent with anything before those points, aside from some should-be-clear tweaking to enable crossover.
Disclaimers: Plot mine. Stargate and Doctor Who environments and characters not.
Notes: This is a My First Fic. Also, that title? Yeah, I know. (The "Preferred Title" was added 2/6/08, when I realized — far too late — the term I had been seeking.)
